Tenants of the Duchy of Cornwall, the Rogers family have been farming for five generations. We think of our herd as family, having worked with the same bloodlines since 1941 to strengthen and improve the stock for future generations.

the longmoor NAME
In 2011, we moved the Cherwell Herd lock, stock and churn from our family farm in Oxfordshire to Longmoor Farm, here in Dorset.
It’s no mean feat to move 400 animals in deepest, darkest February without missing a milking, but we did it, all in the name of growing the herd, the business, and to keep on producing top quality milk. Our calves now carry the Longmoor name.
LONGMOOR HOLSTEINS · Cow Families
Many of the cow families at Longmoor Farm have grown up with the Rogers family over three generations. Key families trace back to the early 1940s including Bertha, Daybreak, Heather, Snow White and Sunset. New bloodlines recently introduced include Elsa, a high genomic type Iota from Snowman's sister; Bridget from Triple J Mac Bic Betty EX94; Rudy Missy; Cosmopolitan and Queengirl.
